The Quarter Horses breeding program at RANCHO EL FORTIN started for the need to produce horses that had ability, temperament, lots of cow sense and strong legs
to be able to handle the long days work in hard country.
RANCHO EL FORTIN still works it´s cattle on horseback but its main goal for the past ten years has been to produce horses that can
compete at a top level in Mexico and foreign countries. To this date our horses have had many accomplishments in events here in
Mexico and in Reining in the United States.
Our colts are born and raised under strict genetic program in which they are selected for versatility and ability from the top
bloodlines in the US.
